Adam lets people walk all over him and chooses not to stand up for himself.

I think he's a bit too trusting and doesn't see people for who they are.

I feel that Adam is clueless because he wants to believe the better side is everyone. Unfortunately, his characteristics are not the best. Especially, in the future Cathy will lead him into huge problems.

I believe Adam is rather... naïve. Not only do I believe Adam is just like any other golden child in the family by not realizing how much it hurts Charles to see him blow off the fact their father loves him so much more, but also he doesn't see behind Cathy's evil when Charles saw it right off the bat. He obviously must be somewhat clueless in a sense that he can't read people very well.

I think that Adam isn't as naive as he seems. I think that after wandering all those years without having any real purpose, he was excited to feel like he had a purpose in helping Cathy heal physically and connect with her emotionally.

I think that Adam acts extremely immature and stubborn for his age. It seems that if he disagrees with anything Charles has to say, he leaves the area and comes back later on. He doesn't treat these certain situations properly, and handles them like a little kid.

Adam is clueless and foolish. He does what he wants and doesn't really listen to others' perspective (Like Cathy and how she didn't want to go to California). He will turn out to be just like his father because of this, no matter how much he will try not to.

Adam is oblivious to the truth about Cathy. He dreams up his own image of her.
